Food is love and with so many deals to avail around us, ordering food can sometimes become overwhelming. But with Ramazan upon us, these deals get bigger and bigger. A woman in Karachi took it to another level as she bought 28k worth of burgers.
That’s right. She walked out of the restaurant with 208 burgers and used 26 debit/credit cards. The deal was introduced in Karachi by a well-known international fast-food chain in partnership with a certain bank. You can get four burgers for Rs550, and the deal can be availed twice within 24 hours for each debit/credit card.
When the word spread out, a woman rushed to the franchise’s outlet located in Khayaban-e-Shahbaz, armed with not one, but 26 bank cards.
Speaking with the media, the food chain manager, said:
“We had no choice but to entertain the lady’s request because the company had introduced the deal. What’s more interesting, is that she either remembered the PIN codes of all the cards or must have had them saved on her phone because not one code was wrong,” he added.
He said that the lady was handed a bill of Rs.28,600 and walked away with a whopping 208 burgers. Talk about a food enthusiast always waiting to steal a good deal.
