Woman Comes Up With A Lazy Yet Effective Idea to Avoid Baggage Fee at Airports

She saved quite a pretty penny.

Packing is a headache for almost all of us, and when you have to pay extra bucks to carry your luggage, such as on airports, it gets even messier.

While most of us would choose to drop a thing or two to stay within the baggage allowance and cut on the extra charges, this woman took it to another level. She used a trick to avoid baggage fees.

Travel journalist Rebecca Andrews came up with the idea to carry excessive luggage, all without having to pay the fee.

This is what she did

Rebecca shared a video on her Instagram, showing how she faked a pregnancy to avoid the baggage fee at the airport.

The journo created a fake pregnancy bump by using a special vest and a laptop that could not fit in her bag.

Speaking about the successful airport hack, here is what she told CNN Travel:

“I have a small frame and decided to pretend to be preggo was the most believable route to a successful hack.”

She, however, admitted on the show that this was not a ‘very creative’ idea and said she should not have adopted it to save a couple of bucks.

“But in all seriousness, I think it is the laziest idea I have ever had — a woman’s body can create human life, so exploiting this unique ability we have to save myself $60 was just obvious. It’s quite an uncreative hack.”
