Actress Yashma Gill receives backlash for telling people to use the People’s Bus Service in Karachi, while driving around in her brand new SUV.
Recently, actress Yashma Gill took to social media to promote the People’s Bus Service project in Karachi.
The Foreign Minister and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari inaugurated the intra-district bus service project for Karachi with the maximum ticket price of Rs50. The bus service has around 240 air-conditioned buses (imported from China).
With the project up and running, Yashma Gill is one of the first showbiz celebrities to promote the ‘economical’ bus service. However, are not ‘onboard’ with Yashma’s message, calling her a hypocrite. Here’s why:
It appears that irony is lost on Yashma Gill. The actress has no self-awareness as she tells people to take a bus while sitting in a brand new, air-conditioned SUV. Netizens took to Twitter to troll the actress for telling the public to use a bus while she drives around in an air-conditioned SUV.
