Is it good though?

Actress and YouTuber Yashma Gill has released a song to raise awareness about the coronavirus pandemic. As the country imposes new restrictions, and the people are ready to oppose these laws, we definitely need to have a word with each other.

Our people are just not ready to understand the seriousness of the situation. They are still taking corona as a joke and think that all of the decisions being made are just ridiculous.

But we need to tell ourselves that none of it is funny or useless. And that’s why Yashma Gill chose to speak about it in her song Sunno.

“As the world tries to make efforts in battling Covid-19, staying in isolation I also tried to do the best I could by making this video to help me voice out my feelings and feel productive about my life at the same time.”

Like she said it is not intended to be a music video but rather serves as a public service message. You won’t see any special effects or fancy gimmicks in the video because Yashma’s purpose is to warn the people about the upcoming disaster. The song begins with,

“Azaab hai ye ya hai ye koi imtehan, Corona ki lipat mein aaya sara jahaan.”

Yashma Gill uses this platform to voice her concerns for the right reasons. At the same time, she calls everyone to take the necessary precautions.

“During these testing times, my appeal to everyone is to stay positive, indoors and safe. I am humbled to have the opportunity of sharing this message by using my privileged platform in this time of isolation and reflection.”
