Actor Yasir Hussain has sparked controversy after blaming women for men’s extramarital affairs during a recent television interview. The Monkey Business star dismissed the idea of having multiple marriages for himself but shifted responsibility for extramarital relationships onto women.
Speaking on a private TV channel, Hussain said,
I believe more than men, it’s the women in the extramarital affairs who are at fault. Because knowing that a man is already married to someone and has a family, how can a woman be fine with being their second wife?
He further claimed that many women knowingly enter relationships with married men and sometimes even ask them to divorce their first wives.
Hussain argued that women are attracted to married men because they appear established and responsible, stating, “This is the reason women mostly like ‘taken’ men.”
His remarks quickly drew criticism on social media, with many users condemning his views as unfair and misogynistic.
