Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali are all set to pair up in an upcoming drama. Directed by Kashif Nisar of Inkaar fame, this new venture is in collaboration with Kashf Foundation.
Not much about this new project is revealed yet except for the cast and project heads. The ensemble cast of this new project also include Noman Ijaz, Samiya Mumtaz and Navid Shahzad.
The shooting of the drama has already begun. Written by Amna Mufti, the drama is said to portray the social issues of our society. In an interview, Yumna revealed that it is a ’cause-based project.’ We are looking forward to get more details about this drama.
About the Project Heads
Kashf Foundation has previously showcased the issue of child abuse through the television hit Udaari. Other than that, they have also highlighted the issues surrounding women in dramas Rehai and Aakhri Station.
Kashif Nisar, on the other hand, has worked on several great scripts including Khuda Zameen Se Gaya Nahi, Raanjha Raanjha Kardi, O Rangreza and Sannata. His major hits Inkar and Dar Si Jati Hai Sila tackled the issue of harassment and starred Yumna Zaidi as the protagonist.

About Yumna Zaidi
