Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahi teasers are out and fans are already looking forward to the magnificent drama. It follows the story of human trafficking where Yumna Zaidi and Yasra Zaidi fall victims to it.
The star studded cast includes Yumna Zaidi, Wahaj Ali, Omair Rana, Yasra Rizvi, Samiya Mumtaz, Nauman Ejaz and more. Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahi is written by Amna Mufti and is a joint venture between Kashf Foundation, TV One and PTV.
Kashf Foundation shared the teaser on their Instagram handle and by the looks of it, the story will reach a plot twist when Yasra and Yumna decide to break free from the hellhole.
In an interview with Something Haute, Yasra Rizvi shared details about her character and said that they are raising awareness against a heinous crime. She said,
“It is a story about women trafficking, as apparent from the first few teasers, with an ensemble cast and the main track is set in a modern/elite brothel, focusing on the lives of a few of these women of different ages and background.”
“My character — Sawera — is one of these women, a call girl in her 30s, losing clientele, trying to survive and fearful of her inevitable end,” she added.
The first episode will air on 18th January and we are looking forward to see how our favorite actors address the highly sensitive topic.
