Zainab Abbas happens to be Pakistan’s first female sports presenter/commentator in the International Cricket Council’s Cricket World Cup. She is the daughter of a domestic cricketer Nasir Abbas and politician Andleeb Abbas. The host turned presenter showcased her remarkable skills in the respective fields. She has emerged as the first female Pakistani sports anchor to join the broadcasting world on an international level.
The presenter came into the limelight when she co-anchored PSL (Pakistan Super League) opening ceremony with earlier English county player Alan Wilkins in Dubai Cricket Stadium for Dunya News. Abbas has presented the Pakistani national cricket league, known as the Pakistan Super League (PSL), in the years 2017-2019.
The sports commentator tied the knot in November 2019 with Hamza Kardar, son of former finance minister and former governor of State Bank of Pakistan.
The diva recently gave birth to a baby boy and she named him Taimur Hamza. She recently took it to her Instagram handle and shared her big news. She wrote
“This might be my finest bit of work yet…thrilled to announce the arrival of Taimur Hamza Kardar on 7th December 2021. Our hearts are full, do keep us in your prayers”
