Do you agree with the ‘Aangan’ actress?

Zainab Qayyum

Celebrities are always in the spotlight- and sometimes that’s a good thing. But more often than not, they’re under the microscope being scrutinized. This ends in them being attached to a negative connotation for a very long time- not to forget the famous cancel culture. Zainab Qayyum has a word of advice for those involved in celeb interviews.

The 45-year-old has also won the  Lux Style Award for the best model, as well as an Indus Style Award for the most stylish tv actress.

Starting her modeling career in 1991, the star has had a lot of experience in dealing with the showbiz life. So, without a doubt, she could be one of the celebrities to go to for advice.

Recently on her Twitter account, the Jalebiyan actress addressed celebrities and interviewers saying:

Mandatory for celebs & interviewers to realize that what might simply be jokes to them, that they may easily crack hanging out in each others homes, can and will be rightly called out, torched & dissected if its a public interview. decorum of grace, empathy & nuance mandatory

Zainab Qayyum isn’t wrong- celebrities and interviewers both should be mindful of the fact that the public is not their friends. There is no way for a fan to know the difference between sarcasm, joke, or a serious statement. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section.
