The Ehd-e-Wafa wrote in one of her Instagram stories that the lock-down routine gave her a lot of anxiety which she hadn’t had to deal with before. She says her hectic work routine before the world changed may have contributed to her mental wellbeing.

“Lock-down gave me a lot of anxiety; it didn’t go very well. I have had severe anxiety issues for some time but I hadn’t addressed them. I thought it’s because of my hectic work routine that I feel stressed and tired. It kept creeping up and taking over the best of me. Then I realized that I should get checked it and I found out it is borderline clinical depression,” the Parey Hut Love star shared.

Zara Noor Abbas has urged her fans and fellow actors from showbiz to be more vocal about mental health issues and break the taboo of not opening up about their struggles, stress, and depression.

“Remember, accepting mental health problem is the first step towards healing.”
