PM Shehbaz to Lay Foundation Stone of Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, on Tuesday, will lay the foundation stone for the motorway M-6, a 306-kilometer highway connecting Sukkur and Hyderabad.

As per the details, the Peshawar–Karachi–Sukkur Motorway is the final segment since it would connect all the major cities of the country to the high-speed motorways, making the commute faster.

The project would be completed under Public Private Partnership which would expedite the project’s completion by 30 months.

According to Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Marriyum Aurangzeb, the Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway’s groundbreaking is a significant step toward realizing former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s vision of uniting the country,

She stated that once the project completes, the public would have access to modern and quick transportation options, improving the traffic congestion on the GT Road and preventing accidents.

The project’s completion, according to her, will speed up economic activity as well and make it much easier for farmers, manufacturers, and dealers to conduct their logistical activities.
