QUETTA: Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Shahak Baloch, has directed the authorities to launch anti-encroachment campaigns across the district.
According to the details, operations have been launched under Assistant Commissioner Atta Al-Num and Assistant Commissioner Kuchlak Waqar Kakar.
The anti-encroachment operations were carried out in Kuchlak City, Bypass, Joint Road, Sabzal Road, and several other areas.
It was shared that 21 individuals were fined for wrong parking resulting in traffic congestion.
Additionally, the authorities removed the encroachments, confiscated a large amount of encroachment material, and arrested 39 individuals.
During the operation, AC Quetta City said that shop owners and the business community should not park illegally on highways and the wrong side as it disturbs the traffic flow and results in traffic jams.
Furthermore, he said that anti-encroachment operations would continue across the city and general public should support the district administration in this anti-encroachment campaign.
