CDA Approves Auctioned Plots and New Development Projects for Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The board of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved the recently auctioned residential and commercial plots, allowing the city managers to maintain cash flow for ongoing and future development projects.

CDA had sold 42 plots for Rs. 40.95 billion in late January, and the board normally approves the auction results within a few days, but it was delayed due to a controversy over the reserved price of blue area plots.

The successful bidders will now receive a provisional allotment letter.

The board also decided to end entry fees for parks and recreational points across the city and to waive entry fees for all parks, including F-9, Lake View, Daman-e-Koh, and Shakarparian.
