The CDA reportedly owns 1,500 to 1,000 kanals of land in the area, primarily in Sector C-16.

This area will be developed for mixed-use projects, predominantly apartments, which will also be offered to overseas Pakistanis.

The CDA plans to engage a consultant to develop the area, and it is considering hiring only government-owned consulting firms for this purpose.

If the plan is approved, it will be Islamabad’s second business district, alongside the existing Blue Area.

  1. Mutasreen islamabad ko mar do or taqatwar logo ki zameen ko blue area bna do Allah insaf kare ga

    1. All business centers in Islamabad are out-dated, old and broken, and so functional,
any new development is worth or not, to be seen environmental and other factors.

    2. Yes u people are right to speak about the shortage of basic utilities. One of these requirements is the disposal of dirty garbage. Up till now cda has no proper place for it.They r throwing it anywhere they find empty place. Nowadays they are dumping just adjussent to main sabzi and fruit mandi Islam abad which is a great hazzerd be cause any time some epidemic deseases can spread which Will be worse than corona. It requires a modern system of recycling according to the status of this beautiful city.

  2. Beauty of ICT is also damaged by crowed population… Forest already removed… Kindly consideration Cda.

    1. Extension of another corruption wing is not a bad idea for mafia. Already delivering alot like colonial gangs. Keep adding to the hatred of the people and expect respect in return is wise choice-;)

  3. Environmental wing,
Have no plans to grow at least million of trees which ll improve the environment as well as the most beautiful capital of world to become.
CDA must give us the plan to be the world most beautiful capital with trees and plants.Reduce the big sectors go to the sky rise.Bring the capital high rise building touch with better facilities.

  4. They must stop Islamabad expanding there must be 3 km green belt surrounding Islamabad…and a ring road…the way it’s expanding it’s going to become dysfunctional

    1. I totally agree with you. CDA creates new sectors only to generate funds which they are always short.why should let the city grow without basic amenities like water, gas and electricity. Islamabad is short of all of them.People have moved out of G11,I 10 mainly due whater shortage. Most of high risers are using underground water but for long

  5. Instead of development of business area with shortage of infrastructure requirement like electricity, gas and water, its better to only focus on green areas and public oriented form houses which enable to fullfil the need of fruit, vegetables and livestock for the citizen of Islamabad.

  6. Real owner of land is good, no one have right to sell his land against payment, who will do like this , he will establish him self as mushrik
Land created by good for every heumen, state is responsible to probide the land to ever citizen for house and cultivation as per his requirements, free of cost.
This is law defined in quran.

  7. hortage of infrastructure requirement like electricity, gas and water, its better to only focus on green areas and public oriented form houses which enable to fullfil the need of fruit, vegetables and livestock for the citizen of

  8. I’m an old Islamabadian (since ’64). I vividly remember a news item (probably in late 60s or early 70s) that there’s shortage of in this area so CDA will not allow multi-storied buildings. But then we saw skyline began to pop up in Blue Area. Now CDA itself plans to raisr multi story flats in this new zone. May I ask CDA what have they planned for already in short supply of basic utilities, viz gas, electricity and water?
