CDA Forms Committee to Systemize Kiosk Allotment in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Capital Development Authority, Captain Noor ul Amin Mengal, has taken steps to address the lack of a proper system for the allotment of kiosks in Islamabad.

A committee has been formed, consisting of the Director of Urban Planning, Deputy Director of Master Plan, and Director of DMA, with the aim of identifying suitable locations for kiosk construction that aligns with the Islamabad Master Plan.

The kiosks will be allotted on lease through open auction at the selected sites.

Previously, there was no clear system in place for the allotment of kiosks in the city. To enhance the beauty of Islamabad, these kiosks will be constructed with a specific design.

In addition, a committee has been established to oversee the allotment of open spaces in the city.

It is important to note that, these measures are expected to contribute positively to the development of Islamabad, making it a more attractive and organized city for residents and visitors alike.

  1. Why to have kiosks ? This would further augment Encroachments amd bribery. Islamabad no more a Beautiful city courtesy corrupt and inefficient CDA / MCI.

  2. Basically kiosks were established in under construction areas
    Now all sectors have different markets designed For all requirements to residents
    No kiosks should be allowed in builtup area it’s way to illegal activities
