ISLAMABAD: On the orders of Chairman CDA Captain (retd) Muhammad Usman Younus, DG Enforcement assigned responsibilities to enforcement officers and staff to combat encroachment.
As per the details, one truckload of equipment was seized by clearing the green belts of encroachments while abiding by the construction by-laws of the civic body.
Details indicate that the operation began in sector G-10 with the removal of encroachments outside the plot line in the form of fences, extra gates, and outbuildings.
Furthermore, one truckload of goods was confiscated as encroachment in Sector G-7/3-4 Green Belt was being addressed.
Additionally, a natural drain was being narrowed in Sector D-17 and a written notice was issued to the supervisor of the society to stop the work.
Similarly, illegal plazas being constructed near Mauza Sangjani were also issued written notices, including Aljanat Arcade, Green Seventeen, and Arman Arcade.
Besides, the government land near the PWD stop on the Express Highway was being occupied for nurseries which were also relocated by the authorities.
The action was also taken by the challan team, who issued challans to vehicle owners who parked their vehicles on the green belt of sector I-9, and sent them to the Senior Special Magistrate CDA court for a trial.

Nothing has been done in F-8 Markaz there are lot of encroachments and these encroachers pay regular bhatta to CDA. Chairman CDA to take notice visit himself and see the number of encroachments including Quite Tea and many restaurants in the lawyers parking areas. They have almost covered all the footpaths
F8 Markaz is lawyers kee Lanka aur woh hain uss kay eshwar. They avoid putting their hands inside a hornet’s nest but eventually something has to be done about it.

We at Margalla town thankful to Chairman taking notice of encroachments barricading new Margalla road being constructed. But contrary to Chairman’s high profile drive no solid action on ground ever happened. Only a team arrived and demarcated some empty area and go back, and since then almost a month has been passed.
Brother here only show some photo sessions in Margalla Town. New land encroachment by some people near Gosha Mashel and they barricade the area with fence. No action is taken by CDA. Because may be Lower level CDA related person capture the land and don’t show to Chairman CDA
There is thing called “AuKaat”
Whenever a CDA chairman decided to throw these lawers and court rooms out of f-8, that chairman was removed from position.
Clearly proving the stance of these goons which are part of our pious judicial system

This is impressive drive of government and I saw visible change in Sabzi mandi too. But I would request to focus more on permanent solutions rather then removal of encroachments on one day and that is re established.on second day. Atleast 50 thousand per feet fine for permanent encroaches shall be issued and for temporary encroaches like hawkers ,which were legalised by PTI (G11 merkaz) shall be sent to jail for at least 30 days.
All the license or permissions issued to hawkers or stalls in Previouse governmet (G 11) markaz, shall be ceased as they have occupied foot paths with govt. Permission? I condemn this act of past govt. Which encouraged encroachments.
At service Road East(G 10) the offices have made illegal parking in front of their buildings on green belts .As per building control authority rules these buildings have shown their parking in basements but not being utilised. The occupied green belt shall be evacuated and plantation shall be made to avoid its illegal use for parking. Just chalan for oneday is not the solution but curb the evil in the bud.

Please Do visit yo D12 to remove encroachment made by houses in front of them by eracting huge and high slabes for parking. They also have encroached their main gates.
Plz keep it going, it may take about 10 years at this speed also impose some fine on CDA staff in whose jurisdiction these encroachments were made. Removing encroachments is like treating the symptoms instead of ailment. Action against CDA staff ought to be the first thing

How about clearing up Sidewalk/footpaths for pedestrians, such as Khayaban Iqbal from E11 all the way to F8 and more all over the town.
In I-9/1 the Christian colony has opened proper car workshops on road…the road is mostly closed due to illegal workshops

What Islamabad needs is an anti- encroachment drive WITHIN CDA. Against those currupt, bribe taking officers who take huge sums of money from these hawkers and allow them to establish personal businesses on public land. Encroachment isn’t possible without the involvement of CDA staff.
A good start should be an asset audit of CDA officials.
What is the benefit if the encroachers make it again the next day? They should be sent to jail and the encroachment demolished. The CDA staff promote encroachments as they take monthly from the encroachers.

Assalam O Alaikum! Just want to ask, if the blacksmiths working on footpath of I&T centre G-9/1, on the side oppisite to residential area, and ruinung the footoaths with their heavy hammers and other equipment also comes under the jurisdiction of Anti Encroachment or not?

An appreciable action by CDA however before the residential areas of different sectors, attention should have been paid to the Markaz of different sectors where all the parking areas meant for parkin of customers has been fully occupied by Motor dealers and Rent a car dealers. in G8, G11, G9 etc. All the parking areas are being used by Motor dealers and rent a car mafia leaving no parking space for the visiting customers. CDA should first get these parking areas cleared before residential area encroachment.
CDA will never taken action against Motor Dealers in G-8 and G-9 and against food chains occupying park areas in F-10
Good effort but it should be persistent. People encroach right after the teams leave. They should permanently be removed otherwise it is just making a joke about the law. There is no respect for laws and law makers
People will never stop encroaching Govt lands or properties untill stop the support from CDA officials himself. Every CDA official should be bring to justice by their own org if any of illegal encroachment finds in it’s jurisdiction…. What is happening E-12 encroachment. They are still there since last 35 years . Now last year it was told that plot holders will get permission to built their houses . But until now no Cda has failed to remove the encroachments all over the sector E12/ 4/1 . Very dissapointing.

ہر سیکٹر کے ساتھ سی ڈی اے کی مکمل ملی بھگت اور ووٹ کے لالچ میں کچی بستیاں نہ صرف قائم و دائم ہیں دہائیوں سے بلکل پھلتی پھولتی جا رہی ہیں۔ قبضے کےگھروں جو سپورٹ کرنے کے لیے سی ڈی اے نے صدیوں سے قائم بارانی پانی کو حفاظت سے نکالنے والے نالوں کو بند کر کے وہاں قبضے کروا کر گھر غیر قانونی گھر بنوا دیے ہیں اور اب وہ دن دور نہیں جب ان کے کرتوت کوئی فلش فلڈ سب کے سامنے کھول کر رکھ دے گا جب پانی کو رستہ نہیں ملے گا اور یہی نالوں پر بنے گھر ڈوبیں گے اور باقیوں کو بھی ڈبوئیں گے۔ اور یہ سب محض اس کیے کہ سی ڈی میں جو واہیات قسم کے الیکشن سسٹم ہے وہ ووٹ بڑھانے کے کیے قابضین کو سپورٹ کرتا ہے۔
Please come to G-9 Markaz … and see the encroachment. But I m sure CDA won’t do anything because it’s a great source of revenue for them … Chairman Saab there isn’t anything in D12 f8…See G -9

Please come on I-10 Markaz where shopkeepers occupied Foot path and also rented out parking space. Public is facing a lot of parking problems due to encroachments.

North of D12, encroachments are constantly growing under everyone’s watchful eyes including CDA and its staff.
Residents of this sector who waited years to build a house or who have bought plots at exuberant prices are aghast at this activity. One can buy land cheap north of D12 and no one will be the wiser. This is pathetic and CDA should be ashamed of itself.
