LOWER DIR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has laid the foundation stone of a number of projects worth billions.
According to the details, the CM visited Timargara and Bajaur to inaugurate development projects that would aid in the betterment of the tribal region.
The development projects have been inaugurated after the budget for the tribal region has been raised from PKR 24 billion to PKR 64 billion.
The projects for which the CM gave a go-ahead include:
- Six 52.5 km roads in Bajaur District
- Construction of 2 bridges
- 12 primary schools
- Upgradation of 6 primary & secondary schools
- Construction of 17 middle schools
- Hockey sstroturf
- Football sround
- Construction of hostel at Khar Sports Complex
