DG RDA Directs Officers to Expedite Redressing Citizen’s Greivances

RAWALPINDI: Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, the DG of Rawalpindi Development Authority, has ordered all the employees on Monday to put their all into resolving the complaints of the masses.

The RDA spokesperson claims that the DG instructed the authority’s directorates to provide relief to the citizens and make unremitting efforts to resolve their complaints while presiding over a meeting to review the progress of various projects.

The DG claimed that the RDA had established deadlines for the No Objection Certificate (NOC) and approval of building plans/maps in order to speed up construction and easier for developers and builders.

The time frames for the approval of the maps and the issuance of the completion certificates were set at 30 days and 45 days, respectively. The permits for housing societies were set aside for 60 to 75 days, he continued.

Additionally, he gave strict instructions to the authorities on how they should deal with unauthorized and illegal construction and business activities.

The DG instructed the MP&TE Directorate to offer assistance to the general public, particularly with regard to the construction of residential and commercial.

He also gave the authorities instructions to expedite the completion of ongoing projects while emphasizing the value of high-quality work, as per the spokesperson.
