Faisalabad Development Authority Begins Issuing Smart Cards to Property Owners

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has initiated the issuance of smart cards to residential and commercial property owners under its jurisdiction.

The move aims to digitize records and prevent any possibility of fraudulent activities, forgery, or tampering with documents.

Qaseem Alvi, the Operation Director of the FDA, provided details about the features of the smart cards, which will ensure the safety and security of property files.

He claimed that with the digitization of plot files, all data will be protected in case of theft, fire, or other incidents.

The implementation of the smart card system is a step towards efficient management and transparency in property transactions, he added.

The officials of the department also stated that smart cards are expected to make property ownership and transfer processes more streamlined and secure.
