IBECHS Signs Contract with Marriot International to Open JW Marriot in Pakistan

The Intelligence Bureau Employee Cooperative Housing Society has joined hands with Marriot International to open JW Marriot in Pakistan.

In this regard, a ceremony was held in Dubai where the officials signed an agreement to introduce JW Marriot to the Pakistani market.

The construction work for the JW Marriot Islamabad will start in 2023 and is expected to be finished by 2029.

As per the details, the JW Marriot Islamabad will comprise 250 rooms, suites with world class amenities including swimming pools, fitness center, JW Marriot signature spa, and 3 specialty restaurants.

Additionally, the hotel will have a 4,000 square meters space for events and will include 15 meeting rooms and several board rooms.

During the event, IBECHS Official Shujaat Ullah Qureshi said that the IBECHS was delighted to collaborate with Marriot International for this great endeavor, bringing JW Marriot to Pakistan.

He added that the JW Marriot would raise the standers of hospitality in the capital and will encourage the business community.

In response to this, Director of Lodging Development, Ziad Abi Raad said that he was excited to work with the IBECHS to launch the JW Marriot Hotel in Pakistan and to contribute to the country’s tourism

Furthermore, the ceremony was attended by several officials of IBECHS and Marriot International.

It is important to note that, the IBECHS owns the Gulberg Greens Islamabad that is stretched over to an area of 6,000 acres offering residential and commercial plots along with a clean and green environment.
