Islamabad’s Blue Area Parking Plaza Faces Inordinate Delay

ISLAMABAD: The first parking plaza in Islamabad’s Blue Area is currently being built at a pace that indicates it would not be completed by March 2023, as originally planned.

Recently, CDA Chairman Capt (R) Mohammad Usman visited the construction site and gave instructions to speed up the work.

When asked about the status of the project, a CDA engineer stated, “Apparently, the project cannot be completed in the designated time of March as all major work has yet to be completed.”

He went on to say, “We currently have about four months to meet the deadline as basement work on the four-story building is currently being done.”
