KARACHI: Karachi Administrator Dr. Syed Saif ur Rahman has visited several areas of the eastern district to assess the ongoing development projects.
Upon his visit, he instructed the authorities to clear the green belts from all kinds of encroachments and start planation on all the green belts.
While talking about the encroachments, the administrator added that all encroachments from both sides of the roads and old banners and flags should be removed immediately.
He ordered that the authorities should ensure that the streetlights are in working condition and should be lit on all the road managed by Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC).
The administrator visited Rashid Minhas Road, Dalmia Road, Shahra-e-Faisal, Shaheed-e-Millat Road, Tariq Road, Nishtar Road, and other areas.
It is important to mention that he was accompanied by Director General Works, Director General Parks, Senior Director Anti-Encroachment, Chief Engineers, and other concerned officials.
Administraitor should visit scheme 33 and see the encroachment from his own eyes. In particular, G3 stop around PCSIR and KU society. The islands are full of junk, garbage, encroachment, and what not. Roads are in very bad condition, no streetlights, poles tilted,
He should also order the clearance of cars double parked on Sir Syed Road and Allama Iqbal Road.
He should allow parking on Khalid bin Waleed Road in a systematic order strictly in accordance with the laws, leaving 2 lanes for driving.
He should also order for efficient utilisation of 2 lanes on Tariq Road.
No parking at corners and no obstruction on 2 driving lanes in any circumstances.
Revive the 2 old one way roads running from Nursery to Society Office through intersections at Tariq Road. This will also ease traffic at traffic signals on intersections of Shahrah e Qaideen/ Tariq Road, Shahrah e Qaideen / Khalid bin Waleed Road, Tariq Road / Allama Iqbal Road, Allama Iqbal Road / Khalid bin Waleed Road.
Administrator please visit Allah wali new Karachi worse road ..road going towards Gulshan e maymar and 4k chowrangi then road towards shafiq moor road are full damage no street lights water line broken at Allah wali make complain several times to kwsb but they didn’t repair….please visit and see your self
