KARACHI: The Administrators of the Karachi Municipal Commission (KMC), Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman, and the District Municipal Corporation (DMC) East, Syed Shakil Ahmed, recently visited a road construction site near the Civic Center University Road to inspect ongoing work.
Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman said that the KMC was dedicated to the development of the city.
Syed Shakil Ahmed added that since taking charge, their focus has been solely on providing better facilities to the citizens.
He highlighted the use of a milling machine in the construction of the road, which he said was a first for the DMC and would ensure that the road was built to standards.
During the inspection by former Deputy Mayor Arshad Hassan, Superintending Engineer Mubeen Sheikh, and several other officials were present.
