The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has announced the commencement of construction on the much-anticipated Structure Plan Road. The new road will stretch from Ayub Chowk to Abdul Sattar Edhi Road, according to a recent tweet from the LDA.
The project has been initiated in response to public demand and is expected to significantly improve daily commutes for residents. By providing an additional route, the Structure Plan Road is set to alleviate traffic congestion on parallel roads.

The announcement was met with positive responses from the public, with many expressing their anticipation for the completion of the project. However, some residents took the opportunity to highlight other areas in need of development, including the link between Madr e Millat Road and IEP and the road from the Metro store to Ittefaq Hospital.
