LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) carried out an anti-encroachment operation in G-1 Market, Johar Town, under the supervision of Director General Aamir Ahmed Khan.
The operation was in accordance with the instructions of the Lahore High Court to upgrade 9 major roads in the city into model roads.

According to the details, 40 shops and 18 other buildings received notices to remove encroachments, and several shops were sealed.
The operation was monitored by Deputy Director and Assistant Director.
The first phase of the project involves transforming the roads from Main Boulevard Allama Iqbal Town and Johar Town G One Road from Dr. Hospital to the Expo Center into model roads.
Notices have been repeatedly issued to institutions such as hospitals, schools, restaurants, and other institutions for violating parking and building rules and illegal commercialization.

I think Gulbergian have more fortune to have it.
I have been lodged many times the complaint for removal of unnecessary width of foot paths (approx. 12 to 15 feets). It also hurdles the heavy traffic load at Bhogiwal Main Road near China Scheme Lahore. The LDA always refused to do saying FUNDS not available.
Kindly check the main road from Khokhar chowk till canal road …. There are new buildings under construction and some old offices like Nextbridge and they have made the main road their parking lot.
For god sake clean up all encroachments from Lahore City, Allah bless you people if you accomplish this great goal,
