LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is maintaining its strong stance against bylaw violations and illegal commercial activities within the city.
In the latest move, LDA teams conducted a comprehensive operation on Tuesday, resulting in the sealing of over 15 properties situated on Ferozepur Road and surrounding areas, all found to be engaging in unauthorized commercial activities.

The properties that were sealed included a private bank, grocery stores, shopping centers, sanitary stores, a school, a pharmacy, a property office, bakeries, and food outlets.
According to LDA officials, multiple notices had been issued to the property owners before the enforcement operation.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali and Director Town Planning-VII Syed Ali Abbas, who were assisted by enforcement teams and local police.
LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa has reiterated the agency’s commitment to conducting relentless operations against encroachments, bylaw violations, and unlawful commercial activities.
Campaign appear to be in Media only no result on ground. I have visited several roads and localities said to have been demolished but no trace of any such activity.
