Pakistan is set to display its rich tourism potential at the 3-day mega tourism event, ITB Berlin 2023, taking place from March 7 to March 9 at the Berlin Expo Center City in Germany.
The Pakistan Tourism Development Cooperation (PTDC) and other provincial and regional partners will showcase Pakistan’s tourism potential to a global audience.
According to a PTDC official, ITB Berlin is the world’s largest tourism trade fair, attended annually by over 10,000 exhibitors and 160,000 visitors, including tourism boards, travel agents, system suppliers, airlines, tourism departments, tour operators, and car rental agencies from over 180 countries.
The official added that Pakistan’s participation in the international tourism festival would help create a positive image of the country and attract more tourists.
The event will also facilitate business-to-business and government-to-government linkages in the hospitality and tourism sector.
Pakistan is known for its rich culture, heritage, and landscapes, offering incredible tourism opportunities. Participation in ITB Berlin is expected to further highlight the country’s tourism potential and attract more visitors from around the world.
PTDC and its partners will use the event as an opportunity to showcase Pakistan’s natural beauty, cultural diversity, adventure tourism, and the country’s potential as a business and investment destination.
The event is an important step towards promoting tourism in Pakistan and increasing the country’s economic growth through the hospitality sector.
