ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Excise and Taxation department has simplified an online No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the sale of the property.
Citizens can obtain NOC online, which is required to sell property, so they won’t need to visit the excise office and wait in long queues.
The agency issues more than 1,000 NOCs daily, and currently, the new system holds records on 40,000 properties.
Moreover, the property subject to litigation will not be issued with NOC.
It is pertinent to mention that the Excise NOC is a must for selling urban property in Punjab.
Separately, the Punjab government has permitted the Excise and Taxation Department to begin hiring for open positions.
The department has 416 available slots for students in grades 5 through 15 and the department will soon advertise job openings on its website.
Process of Getting Online NOC
In order to get the online NOC, citizens will have to visit the Punjab Excise and Taxation online portal, and enter the CNIC and the 32-digit Property Identification Number (PIN) which can be found on the PT10 challan form.
After submitting the required information into the fields, the person will be able to download the NOC.
