LAHORE: The government of Punjab has released documents outlining the specifications for land use in the planned Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) industrial estate project.
The project aims to rehabilitate the existing 950-acre Ravi Industrial Zone and centralize land use by bringing unorganized industries under a unified set of regulations.
The total area for the industrial complex is 2,200 acres, with an additional 1,239 acres added for the new industrial complex.
The new estate is planned to be developed on 691 acres, with 137 acres designated for parks and open spaces, 3.88 acres for commercial areas, 45 acres for apartment buildings, and 70 acres for common facilities such as hospitals, schools, and sports complex.
