RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority’s (RDA) Enforcement Squad has demolished an illegal commercial building on Defence Road Rawalpindi, near Fazil Street, which was being constructed without the necessary No Objection Certificates (NOC), plans, and maps.
The operation was carried out on the orders of the Director General, Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, and was led by the in-charge/assistant director of building control, along with the deputy in charge, building inspectors, and others.
The DG RDA has directed the LU&BC Wing to take strict action against encroachments, illegal and unauthorized constructions, and commercial activities without any bias.
He has also asked the Building Control Wing to conduct a survey of fees and charges for the approval of illegal buildings and regularize all such structures in the controlled areas of RDA.
The RDA Spokesman has appealed to the general public to remove encroachments and avoid further losses.

All building plaza after non party election local body must??
It is requested to RDA authority to remove all stalls from Bara, Market and Urdu Bazar as well. A pedasterian could not walk in these bazaars.

Kindly conduct a Survey through exchanging Building Surveyors in different areas, and demolish all illegal shops, stalls and holdings at prkings.

Although it’s a good initiative, but please take care of those who are just earning their lives from Bara market or near Raja bazar, Strict action should be taken against them but let them pick out their investment first then demolish unauthorized building of stalls
Legal work should be done . circle of demolishing be expanded to the markets in all cities of the country.
