RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), under the guidance of Director General Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, issued notices to owners of four illegal private housing schemes.
These schemes are:
- Pak Sar Zameen Town at Chakri Road
- Century Town Housing Scheme
- Rawat City Housing Scheme
- Al-Buraq Enclave Rawat
The authority also warned the sponsors to immediately halt the marketing of unapproved and illegal housing schemes and obtain No Objection Certificates and approval of the scheme in accordance with the law. Otherwise, they would face strict legal action.
Two illegal housing schemes, namely Pak Sar Zameen Town at Chakri Road and Century Town, have already had First Information Reports lodged against them by RDA.
Additionally, the Director MP&TE has been directed to take action against illegal advertisements and marketing.
He also said that FIRs should be lodged against illegal housing schemes, such as South City Developers, for illegally advertising on social media.
It should be noted that South City Developers is located in District Attock and not within RDA’s controlled area.
The citizens have been advised not to invest in illegal housing projects and to check the status of any housing projects on RDA’s official website, www.rda.gop.pk.
What about Mega city Gujar khan.. Why it’s not yet any legal action against that project.. Which is against all the environmental laws and RDA.. Laws

Better not invest in Blue World City. They are famous only because of Their national and international advertisement.
Your department and CDA yet did not took action against WAPDA town and Ghauri town ,both in Rawalpindi and Islamabad,such a discouraging situation
What about Faisal Town Phase-II? Why RDA is silent about this housing project which has been launched without any approval?
RDA MUST TAKE STRICT ACTIONS AGAINST ALL ILLEGAL HOUSING PROJECTS WITHOUT ANY EXTERNAL PRESSURE.
UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS ALWAYS A COMPROMISE.
In Pakistan RDA take action based on favour or disfavour. There is not problem of law following procedure. Here take action against enemy or political basis.
DG RDA respectfully stat that earlier a scheme namely Rabia Residency(Star enclave) chakri Rd was issued ltr of approval,which they show the public and sold huge number of files,after some time the news published that society not yet approved and warned public not purchase from them being illegal.what will we do for this,3 years has been passed still no progress.kindly help.

Another point to note is that some societies get NOC for a certain area, and then expand to other areas not included in original area, but keep telling prospective customers that NOC has been issued. Example is Capital Smart City near Chakri. They have added Overseas Prime II but NOC has not been issued for it? How to confirm the authenticity of such cases?
What about the fraudsters who are selling housing society named Nishaan Housing Society(previously by Nishaan-e-mustafa and ample villas) on main chakbeli road near rawat? Their CEO is Mehar Muhammad Baksh and manager Talha mehmood. They wrongfully took our hard earned money and also many others. Their main office is infront of amazon mall gt road. Openly selling files of that society when its illlegal.
RDA officers taking action just for their interest. We are effecties of Danial Block Alharam City Chakri Road. The owners transfered land to Faisal Town Group.
