RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has issued notices to the owners of 4 unapproved private housing schemes for advertising their plots.
The housing schemes include:
- Capital Orchard
- Prime Valley
- Arizon City
- City Housing at Rawat Rawalpindi
RDA Director General, Saif Anwar Jappa has warned the public to avoid investing in illegal housing schemes and has stated that action will be taken against illegal advertisements and marketing.
Moreover, the Planning Wing of RDA is submitting applications to the relevant police stations to register FIRs against these housing schemes.
Besides, the owners and sponsors of these schemes are misleading the public through advertisements, and the Cyber Crime Wing of the FIA has also been requested to take legal action against misleading advertisements.
The offenses are cognizable under rule 37 of Punjab Development Authorities Private Housing Schemes Rules, 2021.
The DG urged the public to avoid investing in illegal and unauthorized housing schemes and to check with RDA before investing in any housing schemes.
The whole country is shown this property investment business by big wigs and RDA,LDA,KDA,etc people are also facilitating them to grow further.If law is intact no one can do this gigantic business.God bless us all.

RDA and CDA take notices when these private societies grab people’s money. Actually RDA and CDA work for these private societies not for Government or people.
It is a sorry state of affairs to warn the unsuspecting general public to desist from investing into certain illegal projects and then think their job is done. Why don’t they reach the site, seal the venue and arrest the perparators as soon as they start ground work or the first advertisement is aired.
Whole of the housing societies are mostly illegal.The crafty and influential property owners by bribing RDA,LDA,KDA make illegal housing societies legal and get away with it.The property dealers through advertisements grab money from people by showing fictitious approval notices .The authorities show a blind eye to these poor investors.
Rda CDA lda kda they are all black mailers never take a headache of innocent ppl and investors ….now this is the new way to black mail,after some period those societies will b released after giving bribe …..so relax ppl if u have some investments above those societies
is this the way to warn people?they have already invested millions of rupees.rda should move to their place and arrest them and bring them to the justice.
Rda soya hota hai jub ya societys market mai logo ko files k naam pa arbo rupa jama karta han ya arizon society ki jaga pahala ample living thi usa pahala pwd usa pahala or das society har event pa rda ki team ay k chawal kha k chali jati hai but ink upar proper action ni laita .
Dear Sir, I think here also need to take notice ( RDA, LDA, CDA, . etc ). There plot measurement is not Pakistan standard measurement ( 270 square ft / marla ). They make there own measuring scale like as plot size 25×50 they call 5 marka but acutely it is 4.6 marla according to Pakistan standard measurement scale. Please take necessary notice and act upon on standard measurement being muslim and being Pakistani. Become true muslim.

Why should the RDA be not declared illegal for allowing illegal socities to develop their infrastrucure over so many years. I think RDA is fully involved in this illegal business and its officers get their share from time to time. When the RDA officers want to increase their share, they issue a notification, warning people against investment in these societies.
Ist illegal societies are deliberately allowed to carry on business and deceive general public, so that way is paved to take share in looted money or by taking bribe…… that the whole story.
New metro city Gujar Khan is one of the unapproved societies. Considering it is from niece of Malik Riaz I also book a five Marla plot by paying for profit over the cost They are now harassing their members to pay balloon payments almost half of the total cost. Where the RDA is showing the society as unapproved. What should I do? Please guide.
Why authorties do not taking action before starting a such illegale projects. when every one sinks after huge investment they shows their feathers.
