LAHORE: The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) hosted a dialogue session, bringing together public and private stakeholders with the shared objective of establishing educational institutions within Ravi City.
This initiative signifies a step towards the comprehensive development of the city, transforming it into a prominent educational hub.
According to sources, the collaborative event, co-chaired by RUDA’s CEO, Imran Amin, and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mansoor Janjua, welcomed former Minister of Education Mian Imran Masood, Secretary from Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Sajid Zafar Dar, and renowned educationists from across the country.
Executive Director Commercial, Kashif Qureshi, initiated the session by offering an in-depth overview of the RUDA project.
Moreover, he also emphasized the pivotal role that the education sector plays in advancing the city.
CEO Imran Amin further delved into critical topics encompassing urbanization, sustainable infrastructure, and the vision for integrated educational complexes within Ravi City’s framework.
The CEO highlighted the significance of merging modernity with sustainability to foster an environment conducive to learning and growth.
During the event, Secretary of the Higher Education Department, Ali Abbas, and Deputy Secretary of the School Education Department, Naveed Hussain, also took the stage to discuss RUDA’s proactive efforts in promoting education within Ravi City.
Besides, Karim Randhawa, the father of Arfa Karim, shared his daughter’s aspiration to reside in a city akin to Silicon Valley, characterized by sectors for education and IT.
He also commended RUDA’s initiative as a significant stride towards realizing Arfa Karim’s dream.
