KARACHI: The Sindh Building Control Authority has issued a list of housing projects that have not been issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) either to sell plots or to advertise.
The SBCA has also warned the general public not to invest in projects that are not approved by the authority.
The projects that do not have an NOC and are termed illegal are listed below:
- DJ Residency
- Al-Ghafoor Industrial Zone
- Al-Ghafoor Overseas Block
- Country Residence
- Shangrila City (Golf View)
- Shangrila City (Supreme Block)
- Shangrila City (Gold Block)
- Romaisa City
- Rabia Apartment
- Hamid Residencia
- Kings Comforts
- Komal Arcade
- Zubair Residency
- Danish Park View II
- Centric Tower
- Canal View City
- ATAP Town
- Al-Ghafoor Green City
- Gulshan e Rabia Phase II
- RYS Residency
- Gulzar Classic
- Bilquis Trade Centre
- Mehmood Tower
Upon the orders of the DG SBCA, the booking offices of these projects have been sealed and strict action is being taken against these illegal housing projects.
It is important to note that several unlawful buildings have been demolished across Karachi in the year 2022.
Earlier in July, a list of illegal projects was also shared by the SBCA and strict action was taken against them.
