SHC Asks MDA to Submit Compliance Reports of Land Encroachment Case

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has issued notice to the Director General Malir Development and the Chief Secretary to submit compliance reports of the Shah Latif Town Land Encroachment case by November 30th.

This came after the court heard a petition against the illegal occupation of a plot in Shah Latif Town.

The petition stated that the Malir Development Authority (MDA) had not granted possession of the plot though all the payments had been cleared.

Additionally, a division bench headed by Justice Nadeem Akhter ordered the concerned authorities to submit the report on the next hearing, dated 30th November.

The SHC also instructed the authorities to remove the illegal encroachment and hand over the plot to the petitioner/owner.
