Stepmother Kills Stepson in Multan to Secure Property

MULTAN: In a shocking incident in Multan, a stepmother is accused of killing her stepson to ensure that her sons would inherit their father’s property.

According to the police, Zainab Bibi, a resident of Chak No 97/M, took her 10-year-old stepson to the District Headquarters Hospital, claiming that he had suffered an electric shock.

However, the medical staff found the circumstances suspicious and immediately notified the authorities. Upon arriving at the hospital, the police apprehended Zainab Bibi for further investigation.

Startlingly, the woman confessed to the crime, revealing that she had laced potato chips with poison and fed them to her stepson.

Moreover, when she realized that the poison did not immediately take his life, she resorted to electrocuting him using live wires on his fingers.

Even after the electric shock failed to kill the child, she proceeded to strangle him by tying a noose around his neck.

Zainab Bibi’s motive behind this act was to ensure that her two sons would become the rightful heirs to their father’s property.

The police have taken Zainab Bibi into custody, and a thorough investigation into the incident is underway.
