ISLAMABAD: The All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajran and Traders Action Committee in Islamabad have announced their full support for the shopkeepers of G-12 and F-12 sectors against the housing ministry’s possible eviction without compensation.
During a meeting of officials, including the Traders Welfare Association G-12 and F-12 President, Mehboob Ahmed Khan, the leaders emphasized that eviction without compensation is impossible according to the new law.
The leaders demanded that the federal minister of housing should not evict almost 2,000 shopkeepers without compensation.
They also stressed that evictions must be carried out by adopting the legal course and warned that the business community will fully protect the rights of thousands of shopkeepers in Islamabad.
