Not one or two, Call Five numbers Free Forever: Says Ufone

Ufone has recently introduced a new package, maybe in response to ZONG’s free forever offering. But it is not really anywhere near to ZONG’s one free number for ever, just because Ufone’s free calls forever are possible only at nights (12 AM to 7 AM). Again a deceptive marketing strategy adopted by Ufone, as these calls are never free (they charge you 0.01 per call) and also calls at day are not free. They are charged at regular pricing.

To activate: send *444*50# from your Ufone number
Okay there are some conditions as well for using this package
- All charges excluding IDD calls will be charged in units of 30 seconds.
- To ensure fair-use Rs.0.01 will be charged per call
- You will have to pay round 70 Rupees per month to avail this package (Including Taxes)
Fairly average package, nothing so exiting. Zong offers 75 Paisa on on-net and off-net calls. Ufone had previously offered Free calls at night (to all ufone-ufone numbers) by loading 500 Rs into your account every month (Atleast once, the credit could be used as well for calls in the day).
It should be noted, that Ufone postpay has a similar package as well. It offers free ufone-ufone calls from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM with line rent of Rs. 500. However, calling rates (on-net and off net ) are quite high for the rest of the day.
