Pwnage Tool 2.0 Unveiled to Unlock and Jailbreak iPhone 3G
One of the most awaited hacking tools for iPhone 3G has been finally brought forward by iPhone Dev Team that is named as Pwnage Tool 2.0

What is Jailbreak?
Through Jailbreak application, hackers open up the iPhone’s file system so it can be modified in order to install other application that are not provided or approved by Apple to be used with the iPhone.
However, this is violates Apple’s iPhone software licensing agreement, still many users use Jailbreak applications with no problems, there are some risks involved with doing so. If this causes any problems, it can void the warranty.

Will it still void the warranty if we restore it again or update the firmware, b/ updating the firmware deletes all the jailbreaked data.
Will apple be able to find out if we’ve ever jailbreaked our iphone and restored it back again?

I have got new iphone 3G came from UK. How I can unlock it ? I have google on it and found discussion about Jailbreak , PwnageTool 2.2 but on many forums i also read user’s comments that my iphone OS broke.Could some one please assist in me in this regards.

On google I have found that 2G can be easily unlocked but not 3g ? what you suggest ? How much it will cost if fo to market ? They also use same way or use unlocking dock sim ?
@Mohsin, the good idea to to go out in market and spend 2K to 3K and get it unlocked… instead of trying your luck and loosing your phone…! go to Shahbaz Plaza Saddar (There is a guy Ali John, check him out)

wait… im still confuzed…i know how to unlock the ifone3g thru means of any software…but wud unlockin it and usin turbo sim be enough to make it work in pakistan? or is the so called procedure of jail breakin a necessity ?
you dont need to have any turbo sim etc to make it work, you can get your iphone and ipod 2g, 3g, 3gs jailbroken and unlocked to be used with any network easily. check out here for details:
