PTA Asks Cellular Companies to Suspend Communication

In view of current political situation in the country, and upcoming long March on Monday Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has asked all cellular companies to lower their cell sites’ capacity to decrease number of simultaneous connections at a time.

This verbal order was communicated to all cellular companies by colonel Yawar at PTA, told us a high official from a cellular company. Adding further, he confirmed us that regulator has asked us to decrease number of simultaneous connections per tower in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, especially F5, F6, F7, F8, G6, G8, G9, G10 and Aabpara.

PTA’s spokesman was not available for the comment.

This act is apparently aimed at creating trouble for customers in establishing connections, especially Journalists, Lawyers and political leaders.

If carried away, this action is going to largely harm routine life.

  • I don’t know what the hell is going on in the mind of Zardari.
He thinks he can stop people in this way.
    A real fool

  • Well, I really dont think its something new to pakistanis. After all our Leaders are part of us? we voted for them and yet they play gods.

Now its Zardari’s turn, before benazir, Nawaz sharif n bla bla bla had fun. We should really re-check our directions as per Islam. Its a WAY OF LIFE not just a ritualistic religion ;)

    Cheers
