Punjab University has opened registration for the 2nd Admission Test for Undergraduate Programs for the academic year 2026-27. The test is mandatory for students seeking admission to undergraduate programs at the University of the Punjab, Lahore. As per the university schedule, the second admission test is tentatively set for 19 July 2026, while the last date to complete online registration is 3 July 2026.
The second test is a useful chance for students who missed the first admission test or want to improve their previous score. Candidates who appeared in the first test held on 14 June 2026 can also register again, and Punjab University will consider the higher score for admission purposes.
The admission test carries 25 percent weightage in the overall merit formula. After qualifying for the test, candidates will be able to apply for undergraduate programs once the university officially opens admissions.

Punjab University will conduct the admission test in seven categories according to the academic background of candidates.

Candidates should select the correct test category according to their previous academic stream and the program they want to apply for.
Test Fee
The admission test fee is Rs. 2,500. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Candidates must download the fee challan from the PU admission test portal during registration. The fee can be paid at any branch of HBL, UBL, or through mobile banking using 1Bill.
Applicants are also required to upload proof of payment on the portal to complete the registration process.
