Telenor Acquires 67.25% stake in Unitech Wireless, India for $1.23Bn
Telenor International, the Norwegian mobile operator, acquires 67.25% controlling, Unitech Wireless for $1.23bn in order to expand its services in the Indian telecom market.
Unitech Wireless secures telecom licences to operate in all of India’s 22 telecommunication circles and also holds 13 start-up spectrums in 13 circles.
