Zong Introduces SMS to Email & Email to SMS Services
Zong introduces a unique service which allows subscribers to send SMS from their mobile phones to email addresses and emails to mobile numbers, which will be delivered as a SMS on the mobile phone.
This service is primarily targeted for people who are on the move and want to remain connected.
How to Send SMS to email?
Send SMS to Email Address: type EMAIL<space>message and send it to 987
Example:
Email abcdef@zongsms.pk Hi. This is a test message
Send it to 987
Price:
Rs. 2/sms+tax
Send Text from Email Address to Mobile Number
Type your message & send it to zong_number@zongsms.pk
Example:
Hi. This is a test message
Send it to 03123456789@zongsms.pk

ZONG continues to expand its value added promotions to its customers, including offering low call rates for both national and international destinations.
Statistics show that 28 percent of total sms text messages are exchanged between mobile phones and email accounts and vice versa. Now, with the introduction of this unique value-added service, all ZONG subscribers will have this facility readily available to them. All this is possible with just a few clicks and customers can send sms to email addresses and even receive texts from those email addresses on their mobile phones.
This new service offers great convenience in terms of usage. To send an sms to an email address, customers need to go to the sms menu of their mobile, then simply go to the Write Message option, write EMAIL <Email Address> <Message> and send it to ‘Send SMS’ and send this sms to 987. When subscribers want to send an email to a mobile number, they will compose the email and in the recipient’s address, type <mobile number@zongsms.pk>.

Gmail Users can Follow ProPakistani's updates via Google Buzz
This service isn’t working. Same kind of service was introduced by Telenor too. But, its just fake.
Telenor never introduced such service and telenor do not have this service(thug company hai telenor mobilink sub say bari lotaray laiken telenor chalaki say lootatay).
Only Ufone was providing this service at 30Rs per month + tax

If it’s true it will be most amazing service and will be popular very soon among the lover’s of sms & internet but i tried it this service is not working properly.
My friends MMS me on my gmail account from their warid numbers n I reply from Warid website, they have SMS craze package activated so it costs pennies to them n nothing to me…
So Zong isn’t expensive then ? :)
It is working excellent. Receiving email to sms was a dream come true. It was not possible without paying monthly fee before. Another unique service after e-bil. Thanks Zong!
Telenor sms email service is much better and telenor is the first to launch this service as far as zong is concerned they are copycats, copying everything of telenor uhhh!!!

Just to mention, yes you need to send an email at 031XXXXXX@zongsms.pk with message, and this email will be delivered to your Phone via SMS. (Replace xxxxxxx with your phone number

i am sending mail with yahoo but its not work.
I have sent an email from my Yahoo account which was received on my ZoNG number within a minute as a text message. Good service ZoNG!

Zong email to sms not working for me.
I have tried gmail and yahoo and at both addresses like

but of no use.
email to sms used to work on Ufone prepaid a couple of years ago…it doesn’t seem to anymore…but it still has option for mobile email in the utilities menu of the ufone section…
O sorry, I just got the sms i sent through email…it just took a few minutes :)
