Warid Introduces Ramadan Value Added Services

This Ramadan Warid is bringing back to back offers for its subscribers.

Earlier the company  introduced SMS alerts for Sehar, Iftaar and Namaz timings and now it comes up with different value added services for its customers.

Now you can listen to your favorite Naats, Hamads, Qawalis, Duas and the Tafseer of Quran from your Warid number. To listen to these services dial anyone of the following numbers:

  • 555

Ramadan Alerts:

Also you can have alerts for Sehr, Iftar, Namaz timings as well as daily Duas, Ayats, Hadiths and much more by subscribing to Ramadan Alerts.

How to Subscribe:

  • You can subscribe to these alerts by sending RA  to 1601 and 2602.

Quran Over SMS:

Quran over SMS is the new feature that Warid has added to its existing value added services. You can search Quran over SMS, subscribe and receive the requested Ayats and Surahs. Moreover you can also receive Ayats pertaining to a particular topic.

  • Now Warid is really in mode to shake the market, now the change in management have started to show what’s going on

        • New Postpaid packages of Warid is expacted on 14th of August or may be at Eid. But one thing is sure it is now just a matter of launch. Further i m not employee thats why i just give the comments which heard.

  • Dear Waqas, I was a Telenor user and its just two months back and i am relly happy. I never had a single complaint in these two months. I travel alot and as compair to Telenor i give Warid 99% in its Netwrok Quality. I had real issues with Telenor Network.

  • @Waqas i ported in from Telenor because i travel alot and for me the network quality is the most important factor and i give Warid 100%

    I just ported out 2 months back and it never happened if i had any compaint in these 2 months.

  • I am using telenor as my offical SIM and BB device i face following errors quite often

    call failed
    network congestion
    circuit channel not avaiable
    delay in call connection (even onnet)
    undelivered SMS (onnet and offnet)
    call drops (now little bit improved only in selected areas of Lahore)

    Also data services of Warid is much better than telenor and Voice quality is also the best one
