PTCL Concludes its Xperia Summer Learning Program

Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) has concluded its Experia Summer Program 2013. The program offered an extensive six week long learning and development opportunity to the students of top Pakistani universities from LUMS, IBA, NUST and GIKI.

Apart from comprehensive orientation sessions, guest lecture series by seasoned PTCL officials and coaching sessions, the program also featured various exciting team projects and competitions.

Syed Mazhar Hussain, PTCL Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) HR remarked at the concluding ceremony, “The Experia Internship Program has contributed towards the growth and development of these talented students, and has proved to be a two-way contribution between PTCL and the young minds”.

“Initiatives like these play a vital role in development of the youth and PTCL is proud to play its role in providing this healthy platform to the future leaders of the country” added Mazhar Hussain.

During the internship, the participating students were exposed to various functions of the company including Commercial, Finance, HR and Technical functions which will further enrich their experience.


  • as far as i know 90% of those interns would be people that are refereed by someone matlab wohi porani parchi wali kahani !

    • Not really Boski. All these interns were selected after going thru a test and then interview process. PTCL is tryin hard to improve its image from the old public sector organisation to a diversified private sector organisation.

      • well if its done according to norms and values as you say than its a very positive sign for new generation.
