ICT R&D Fund is Doing Brainstorming Session on FinTech Innovation Center Tomorrow

ICT R&D Fund, as we reported earlier, is planning to set up a state of the FinTech Innovation Center in Pakistan. But before doing so, they want to discuss the idea with stakeholders to make sure that whatever they achieve is inline with industry expectations.

ICT R&D Fund said that it is planning to establish this FinTech Innovation Center (FinTIC) by end of June 2017.

FinTIC is aimed at producing technology startups having potential to disrupt financial sector with innovative solutions in areas of Smart payments/processing systems, Security (fraud averting) solutions, P2P Lending, RegTech (Regulatory and compliance solutions), Insurance, Big data and analytics, Asset/wealth management products, Blockchain, Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies, FIs digital back office, etc.

For the purpose, ICT R&D Fund has invited everyone — including startups, businesses, financial institutions, industry professionals, innovators and researchers — to be part of this brainstorming session, where you could share your thoughts, ideas, proposals or other suggestions to help ICT R&D Fund with your vision of FinTech Innovation Center.

You can walk in to ICT R&D Fund office, if you are in Islamabad tomorrow, or join the session through video link if you want to participate remotely.
