Uber Increases Prices for Lahore and Karachi

You might have experienced increased fares while using ride-hailing service Uber, right?

Well, Uber has updated its fare policy to accommodate the driver-partners with constantly increasing fuel rates.

Until now, Uber rides have definitely benefited the riders, in terms of safety, reliability and reasonable fares. We all agree to that, don’t we?

While these rides reap benefits for the riders, the driver-partners haven’t been much satisfied with the earnings.

From fuel price surges to an increased number of driver-partners signing up for Uber partnership program, the driver-partners were having a hard time. The increase in daily commodities due to a hike in dollar prices is also an issue for partner car owners.

To counter this, the Uber administration has modified its fare policy, increasing the rates marginally.

To maintain transparency, Uber has published the pricing sheets for Karachi and Lahore.

For instance, the base fare for uberGO has been increased to Rs. 80, while per kilometer charges will now be Rs. 7.12 and per minute charges Rs. 3.18, with the minimum fare being Rs. 120.
