Suspended PIA Air Hostess Declared Missing in Canada

A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) hostess has gone missing in Toronto, Canada, who was earlier suspended over smuggling allegations from the national airline.

Fareeha Mukhtar, hailing from Sialkot, was banned from all international flights including the US because she was caught smuggling currency and mobile phones to other countries. She was suspended from service in 2015, and has now gone missing in Canada following her arrival from Lahore.

Scuffle at PIA Flight Between Crew Delays Departure Time

PIA keeps making it to the front page now and then, usually because of its ever-rising streak of irregularities and mishaps. Only recently, a flight was delayed by over three hours after a fight broke out within the plane between the flight’s pilot and a steward.

The pilot had accused a member of the staff of being a smuggler and wanted rest of the crew to remove the steward off the plane.
