Neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has announced official GTA 6 pre-order figures.

When officially confirmed, the milestone would make GTA 6 one of the biggest entertainment launches in history before the game has even reached players.
The unprecedented pre-order numbers highlight the enormous anticipation surrounding Rockstar’s next blockbuster, which is scheduled to launch in 2026.
Separately, one gamer shared how they managed to pre-order GTA 6 for less than $3. They combined previously earned Best Buy cashback reward certificates with a 10 percent discount coupon which cut the final checkout price to just under $3.
The deal was made possible after the user forgot about cashback earned while purchasing a PS5 Pro months earlier.
