Cinepax Aired T20 World Cup on Big Screens

History was made when founder of Cricket, England, won first ever ICC championship title, beating Australia in the final match of T20 World Cup 2010 by 7 wickets. It took England 35 Years and 18 attempts to get this far.

To witness history being written and to see all the actions live, Cinepax arranged live screening of entire tournament at their big screens.

Just like last year, Cinepax brought live action for the cricket enthusiasts of twins cities. I, being a big cricket fan, went to watch the 2nd Semi Final between defending champions Pakistan and Australia.

Just upon reaching the venue, I was stunned to see huge roaring crowd, waiting in queues to get into Cinepax, it looked like as if the whole city was there. After waiting for half an hour, I was able to get into Cinepax, and too much of my surprise Cinepax welcomed everyone by distributing free Pakistani flags amongst the attendees.

Without wasting any more time, I made my way into theater 4 to witness one of the greatest T20 matches ever. Soon after the match began, the whole experience of watching cricket at Cinepax was just like as if I was sitting at the stadium.

The crowd was thrilled, excited and supportive. Almost everyone was dressed in green, loud sounds of pressure horns and cheers for the Pakistani team roared in the theater throughout the match.

First whole innings and 17 overs of Australian batting was wonderful, it looked Pakistan will win the match easily. Everything was going great until Mike Hussey stunned the whole Pakistan and made 60 runs on just 24 balls, and Australia won the match and qualified for the Finals.

After the match, the crowd didn’t look that disappointed because at least our team had performed 100%. We will get our cup back next time – InshAllah.

Overall, it was yet another splendid live screening organized by Cinepax. Kudos to team Cinepax, and I hope they bring more live sports action for us.

As of for the Football fans, Cinepax will air entire FIFA World Cup 2010 live from 11th June -11th July.
